Gary Phelps

After many successful years in a national firm, Gary joined Davis Martindale as Principal in our Advisory Services Division. He brings extensive experience in insurance claims and litigation support, including commercial insurance loss claims, economic loss claims under tort, and claims under the Ontario Statutory Accident Benefits Schedules.

He has presented seminars to insurance adjusters and the legal community and has appeared as an expert witness in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Gary has also acted as an accounting loss expert at mediations and private arbitrations. 

Gary is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Fraud Examiner’s (CFE) and achieved a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
