Professional History
Danielle Martens is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and Certified in Financial Forensics. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the School of Business at Wilfred Laurier University. After gaining experience in the forensic accounting field, Danielle went on to complete her Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (DIFA) from the University of Toronto.
Danielle began her career in the forensic accounting field before joining Davis Martindale as an Associate in 2011. She advanced through several leadership roles – Manager, Senior Manager, and Associate Partner in 2023 – before being promoted to Partner in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, she spent seven years at a local mid-sized accounting firm, where she completed her co-op and worked as an Accountant.
Since 2011, Danielle has focused her practice in the insurance and litigation industry. She specializes in economic loss claims, commercial insurance claims, commercial litigation support, personal injury litigation, and fraud/forensic investigations.
In 2023, Danielle was recognized with the Top 20 Under 40 Award by London Inc. Magazine, celebrating her professional achievements, industry leadership, and community involvement.

Personal
Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as supporting her community. She is a current member of the Fundraising Committee for the Brain Injury Association of London and Region, has previously completed several Mudmoiselles and has been a captain of a Bust a Move team raising money and awareness for women’s health.
