Flexible Work Hours
At Davis Martindale, we believe that a happy employee is a good employee and effective work-life balance is critical in achieving that goal. The accounting industry requires that professionals spend a lot of time working, especially during tax season, but we strive to maximize your work hours so that you can spend more time doing the things you love with the people you love to do them with!
We offer our employees an easy way to save money through our group RRSP. We encourage employees to contribute by matching their contributions (up to a certain percent dependent upon years of service) after 2 years of employment. ‘Pay Yourself First’ is exactly what this plan allows you to do!
Company–Funded Professional Development
Those who have professional designations as a graduate or as a student (such as CPA, CBV), will have their annual membership fees paid by the firm. Davis Martindale is also an approved CPA training firm – which means we have an obligation to provide students a diversity of experience to fulfill their practical experience competency requirements, as well as the chargeable training hours within the minimum training period.
Education Assistance Program
Davis Martindale provides an Education Assistance Program which offers reimbursement of tuition and registration fees to encourage eligible employees to upgrade their education and/or skills and work toward career goals by enrolling in part-time studies, workshops, or seminars.
